Sometimes I just love people! or not.

Don’t you just hate when people let their egos rule their work. You see I thought that it was important to take pride in your work, but more importantly to work with those team members to do the best possible job. In fact I thought the reason that was so important was because usually the work done by many individuals is far greater both in magnitude as well as sheer quality than the sum of those individuals. Many outstanding colleagues at work have that shared vision. Alas there are those few, and there always will be I fear, who believe their own image and ego far outweighs the benefits of working as a group.

I have a individual at work (formerly a team member, now a manager), who has an ego that far exceeds even my own (for those of you who know me, that can be pretty impressive). He loves ketoeing to VPs and kicking those lowly people who actually do the work. As I am trying to be a rather peace loving person (can you tell I just got out of Yoga for the evening), all I have to say to this individual, is G-d Bless, you will get yours in the end. In the meantime, namaste.
